Privileged Tactics I & II

Franc Purg and Sara Heitlinger

Privileged Tactics is a series of projects about how different groups of people use creativty to survive.

Privileged Tactics I was based on our experiences with street children in the Ukraine. This installation, workshop, and action, does not mention the street kids, but rather asks questions about the world we live in that accepts and makes possible such a phenomena.

Privileged Tactics II is about a group of Coptics living in Cairo, Egypt. The Zaballeen, or "rubbish people" survive by collecting and recycling the city's rubbish. This projects aims to promote their model of sustainability.
